Toxic School Bus : These photos made quite a stir with the Central Kitsap School District.  Since then I have been told unofficially that this bus was auctioned off and replaced. By an anonymous email that was critical of  my activism, I have been asked to take them off the web. I shot them while returning from Silverdale about 1pm on 12-11-2003. Diesel fumes are a known cause of diseases such as leukemia. I have leukemia.  Click here for more information about this issue.

Spoiled viewpoint : This is about a scenic viewpoint near my home in East Bremerton. The viewpoint is 1 mile north of Lyons Field on the Tracyton Beach Road. I often check it out for sunset photos and birds. Recently I noticed a very bad odor that smelled like a dead body. I looked along the bank where the odor was strongest and saw a place that was burnt by chemicals. My hunch is someone is dumping their RV holding tank over the bank.
